‘Call Her Daddy’ Fans Blast Alex Cooper Over Kamala Harris Interview: ‘Feels Like Propaganda’

Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper sent some of her fans into a frenzy over the weekend by giving a surprise interview with Vice President Kamala Harris on her wildly popular podcast.

The podcast’s Instagram account posted a short video Sunday morning showing Cooper, 30, interviewing the Democratic presidential candidate.

However, some members of the “Daddy Gang” were not happy with Harris’ appearance on the show and flooded the comments section of the post to express their frustration and criticize the show for being political.

“One of my favorite podcasts and now I will never listen to it again. unbelievable,” one user commented.

“Oh no why did we have to take this policy. Listening to your podcasts was a nice escape from all the politics we hear every day,” another fan wrote in the comments.

“Done, this was my favorite podcast. I’m 100% disgusted,” added another.

“I’m so disappointed, this feels like propaganda and trying to make him look ‘gen z,'” commented another Daddy fan.

A handful of podcast fans also criticized Cooper for failing to address more pressing issues with Harris during the interview, such as illegal immigration and the Biden-Harris administration’s response to the devastation of Hurricane Helene.

“Ask him what he’s doing to help hurricane victims instead of talking in circles about women’s rights,” one fan wrote.

“Wait what happens with the abuse and crime caused by illegal immigrants flooding the country,” commented another.

“Ask her what her best and biggest achievement is in the last 4 years,” wrote another.

Harris, 59, talked about strategies to curb sexual assault and other types of domestic violence during an interview, but stopped short of addressing the shocking allegations against her husband, Doug Emhoff.

Last week, the second gentleman was accused of drunkenly assaulting an ex-girlfriend, as reported by the Daily Mail.

Three friends of one of his ex-girlfriends claimed Emhoff, 59, got drunk and slapped her in May 2012.

His representatives later denied those allegations.

“This report is untrue,” a spokesperson for Emhoff later told Semafor, adding that “any suggestion that he would hit or ever hit a woman is false.”

However, during her “Call Her Daddy” appearance, Harris fondly recalled how she began her career as a prosecutor inspired to take on domestic abusers.

One of her best friends in high school, Wanda Kagan, had told Harris that her stepfather was abusing her, which motivated her to want to protect others suffering from similar terror.

“We have to talk about it. “Sexual assault on children is something that far more people than the public discourse around it acknowledges,” Harris said, stressing the need to “not stigmatize it.”

Harris also clashed with her Republican opponent, former President Donald Trump, over nominating the Supreme Court justices who overturned Roe v. Wade, ripping into her telling women: “I will be your protector.”

She bristled when asked about Trump’s suggestion that she supports abortion “until birth and even after birth.”

In August, “Call Her Daddy” was jumped from Spotify to SiriusXM in a reported $125 million deal. Instagram / alexandracooper

“This is extremely inaccurate, and it is so insulting to suggest that this would happen and that women would do this. It’s not happening anywhere,” she said. “This guy is full of lies.”

“Call Her Daddy” is known for discussing sex and advice for women.

Cooper’s show was the second best-performing podcast on Spotify last year, behind Joe Rogan’s podcast, and topped the women’s charts.

She has interviewed some of the most sought-after A-listers in the business, including Simone Biles, Miley Cyrus, Megan Fox, Emily Ratajkowski and Hailey Bieber.
