NBC News’ Willie Geist is in talks to hold his reception concert at the MSNBC-A potentially rare deal that comes while parent Comcast revolves from the left network before the end of the year.
Geist, who Anchor’s “Sunday Today Show” is in negotiations to remain co-president of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” and as most journalists appearing in NBC and MSNBC have been moved to one network or another, said a source of knowledge.
MSNBC refused to comment.
According to Politico, Geist’s talent is coveted by MSNBC and NBC, to the point that no network wants to lose it in spinoff. The outing pointed out that the journalist is most prominent in the late peacock network, filling for Kelly Clarkson on the red carpet for the 50 SNL, for example.
Geist has also been a match at Morning Joe for years, appearing along with Joe Scarborough and Mika Brazinski.
The mass comes at a tumultuous time for the network, which is in the thorns of a large riot, following the November announcement that MSNBC would rotate and a small portion of its cable channels, but will hold NBC News, Bravo and Palla transmission service, among other things. Approximately 100 employees were released, including some of the talent of the network between massive adjustment.
The president of the new news, Rebecca Kutler and the bronze of the other network, are trying to quench the anxiety staff who were shocked to learn about mass vacation before they were officially announced.

Politico said Kutler hopes to bring more progressive voices that will balance some of the left comments, as well as the toning of the “Fire House” rhetoric, as it belongs to the White House Trump.
A source close to the situation confirmed that but noted that the network would not alienate its essential, liberal audience.
Meanwhile, MSNBC has lost the battle of AA Custodian a little of its stars against NBC, including election expert Steve Kornacki and veteran political journalist Andrea Mitchell.
