“Shark Tank” star Kevin O’Leary thinks President Trump is very gentle for China and that 104% fees imposed on Beijing should fourfold.

Canadian businessman and television personality appeared on CNN on Tuesday and called for a dramatic escalation in American trade pressure on China – asking the Trump administration to set up to 400% fees to force Beijing in serious negotiations on intellectual property theft and trade practices.

O’Leary, who is known by the nickname “Mr. Wonderful” for his unclear and bluster ways, added: “Time to squeeze Chinese heads on the wall now!

Tensions between the two economic giants have been turned on again in recent months.

After Trump proposed a 10% fee for Chinese imports in January, the number is quick to over 100%.

Beijing responded with its counterpoint – raising their fees for US imports from 34% to 84% – stirring a trade clash and a hot rhetorical battle.

Global markets collapsed on Wednesday after the implementation of new US tariffs and rapid retaliation from China, promoting investors’ anxiety and setting Wall Street for another unstable session.

The bond market got a big hit, with a sale at Treasurys in the US drawing special attention.

The yield in the 10-year note-a reference point for countless loans and investments-up to 4.47% before it is located about 4.42%.

Traders mentioned the growing concern before future treasury auctions, including 10-year notes Wednesday and 30-year-old bonds on Thursday.
