Kid Rock says Bill Maher raised concerns with Trump about the third term in the White House meeting

The comedian critic and a long time Trump Bill Maher visited the White House on Monday for a private dinner with President Donald Trump arranged by the musician and supporter of Maga Kid Rock.

Now, Rock is sharing his thoughts on what Maher can say about the experience in his HBO show, “In real time with Bill Maher”.

“I think he means pleasant things to the president,” Rock told, whose real name is Robert James Ritchie, he told Sean Hannity on Tuesday night.

“He will not have a magic hat, and he will certainly not vote for the Republican at all times,” Rock admitted.

According to Rock, Maher seemed nervous about his first visit to the White House. At one point, Trump asked if he would like a drink, which Maher jokingly replied that he would get a margarites. Trump then had the White House staff preparing one for him.

Director General of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) Dana White also attended dinner.

“We have essentially stuck in things they agreed,” Rock “Hannity” told Hannity.

“They both have extremely deep knowledge of American history, both very smart boys, and you know, very reasonable people, even though they have had this relationship quite fierce. It was fine.”

One point of discussion was Trump’s past statements about the search for a third term. Rock said Maher raised concerns about the idea, but he refused to distribute details about the conversation.

“It really scares Bill when the president, when people are talking for a third term, this, that, he brought it up and … They spoke a little about it. That was something I would consider private. I feel uncomfortable by sharing it. If the president wants, he could,” he explained.

Trump has said earlier that he has not explored legal ways for a third term, insisting he is focused on making a “fantastic work” in his current four -year term. However, he has not ruled out the possibility if the law would allow it.

The evening also included a private tour at the White House residence, with Trump showing the historical artifact group, including a copy of the Gettysburg address in Lincoln’s bedroom.

Rock pointed out that despite their political differences, Maher and Trump found a common basis for issues such as the “end of shaking” and “border securing”.

Reflecting at the meeting, Rock said he felt inspired to see two open figures, setting aside their differences for a conversation.

“If they can do it, maybe that family member you have you disagree with what you are politically shared … Maybe you can come back and be like, hey man, let’s dinner and talk about what we have in common.”
