Megyn Kelly was furious that Taylor Swift endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris on Tuesday, telling the singer she can “kiss your sales to the Republican audience goodbye.”
“Eff you, Taylor Swift,” Kelly said on her SiriusXM podcast “The Megyn Kelly Show” after Tuesday night’s debate between Harris and former President Donald Trump in Philadelphia.
Kelly reacted to Swift’s announcement on social media that she would vote for Harris. The singer also posted a photo of herself with her cat and captioned the message “cat lady with no kids” — a reference to a comment made by Trump running mate Sen. JD Vance (R-Ohio) about women who vote Democratic.
She said Swift was apparently “fine” with Harris’ running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, and his plan “to take custody of children from parents who don’t want them to cut off their body parts” and to put them in condition. custody “so that they can be sterilized outside the custody of their parents”.
“That’s what got Taylor Swift to support her,” according to Kelly, who added that she called for a boycott of the singer earlier this year when she “went to a fundraiser to raise money for .. .a group known to pour money into it.”
“This is disgusting,” Kelly said.
“If she wants to vote Harris/Walz, she can do whatever she wants, but say the reason she’s doing it is because of Tim Walz’s stance on LGBTQ… Eff you, Taylor Swift.”
Kelly then took aim at Swift and her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs football star Travis Kelce. She said the couple were “the epitome of elite snobs”.
Kelce, who is also a pitchman for the Pfizer vaccine aimed at treating COVID, is “totally clueless” about the “myocarditis that’s killing young people in this country who didn’t need” the booster, according to Kelly.
“Where will he be when these guys have heart wounds that cause heart attacks and potentially death?” Kelly said, adding, “They’re going to sit in their mansions in Rhode Island, California, and New York, and they’re going to fly around the world saying, ‘Let them eat cake,’ because they’re going to bathe in their sanctity. “
She said Swift and Kelce were “too obsessed with their money, their concerts and their football games to think about those they hurt.”
