Amazon founder Jeff Bezos’ new $80 million private jet was spotted at an airport in Los Angeles over Labor Day weekend.
The sleek-looking Gulfstream G700 — which can travel at nearly the speed of sound — was idling just across the tarmac at Van Nuys Airport on Sunday, according to a video posted to X by journalist John Schreiber.

Bezos, the world’s second-richest person with a net worth estimated by the Bloomberg Billionaires Index at $202 billion, recently added the Gulfstream to his fleet of three more private jets, according to a report last month.
The G700 is considered the premier long-range business jet, capable of hitting Mach 0.925, about 710 miles per hour.
It has a length of nearly 110 feet and a wingspan of 103 feet.
The spacious interior of the luxury aircraft is equipped with up to five living areas and includes a private bedroom, a dining area, a lounge and a crew rest area.
The seats in the cabin are made of premium leather while the interior is lined with fine woods and customizable finishes.
Bezos can also enjoy the benefits of a master suite, which includes a fixed bed, private bathroom and the option of a standing shower.
